Having read a comment about a short story I made for one of my pictures I started to think about stories, descriptions and motivation to create art. Many say that they want their works to tell a story or that they have some emotion, message or idea they want to give form with their works. I envy those kind of people because I rarely feel like creating anything to convey a story, personal feeling or anything else along those lines. Every now and then I've felt that kind of similar passion to make something and it has been an amazing yet short lived motivator. I wonder how often others have that need to tell a story, create a character or show

I just watched a video about managing your free time and developing your skills, which inspired me to write down some thoughts and personal opinions on the matter. This post is mostly a personal experiment. Kind of a written promise for myself. But feel free to post your own thoughts on the matter! I'd love to hear them! http://www.ctrlpaint.com/focus-your-time/ I think the thing that struck me the most in the video was something pretty obvious that I have never heard anybody say and therefore haven't given it much thought myself: "What am I willing to sacrifice, to give AWAY, in order to get the skills I want?" I guess it's the negative(?)
